KidsREADy Catawba is a systems-building effort that works collaboratively with other early childhood partners to improve outcomes for young children in Catawba County. Some of our priorities include:

• Promoting the documentary, “Resilience – the biology of stress and the science of hope” and related conversations about social and emotional development (More Resilience info here.)
• Transition to Kindergarten
• The Power of K
• Educational opportunities related to early childhood topics such as “Imagining Equity” and “Leading for Quality Early Childhood Education”
• Facilitating professional discussions between pre-kindergarten and kindergarten teachers in support of developmentally appropriate practice
